| Who Do We Think We Are? A women only course |
C3727054 |
| This 10 week course offers women the opportunity to weave together strands of their own life experiences and enables them to learn how to tell their stories through making something personal. No drawing or writing skills are needed. The WEA sometimes provides targeted courses for particular groups of learners who have traditionally or habitually suffered disadvantage in relation to learning or employment opportunities. In terms of equality legislation, this is defined as"positive action". It is designed to remove entrenched barriers to learning. "Who Do We Think We Are?" is one such course for women only. |
